Milford- The Delaware State Police have arrested 38-year-old Paul Lovett of Felton, DE after a warrant attempt led to the discovery of drugs and a weapon.
On November 11, 2019 at approximately 11:03 a.m., members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force (GTF) responded to a residence on Argos Choice Road, Milford, to conduct a warrant attempt for Paul Lovett who had four active capiases out of the Kent County Court of Common Pleas. Upon arrival, contact was made with the home owner who advised that Lovett had been staying at the residence and was currently there. Lovett was located inside the residence and taken into custody without incident. Drug paraphernalia was observed in Lovett’s bedroom and vehicle. A 9-year-old child was also in the residence at this time.
A search warrant for the residence was obtained by the Kent County Drug Unit (KDU). As a result of the search warrant, the following items were located and seized:
Lovett was transported back to Troop 3 where he was charged with the following:
Lovett was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $28,750.00 secured bond.
