Dover- The Delaware State Police have arrested 28-year-old Roy G. Kolaco on multiple drug and weapon charges.
Members of the Governor’s Task Force received information that Roy Kolaco, a Level III probationer was involved in the distribution of illegal drugs. On September 20, 2019 GTF members observed Kolaco in a motor vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Kolaco initially slowed down then fled from unit members. A warrant was obtained for Kolaco for motor vehicle violations and fleeing from police. On October 17, 2019 it was learned that Kolaco was reporting to the Dover Probation and Parole. GTF members contacted the Dover office and Kolaco was taken into custody without incident. It was discovered that Kolaco had left a bag in the vehicle in which he was transported in to the office. A search of the bag revealed 119 bags of heroin, approximately .883 grams.
Kolaco was transported back to Troop 3 without incident. A probation and parole administrative warrant was granted for Kolaco’s residence located in the 200 block of Will Scarlet Lane, Hartly. During the search of the residence the following was located:

Kolaco was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $26,001.00 secured bond.
