Dover- The Delaware State Police have arrested 29-year-old Corey M. Patrick in connection with the distribution of illegal drugs.
On August 26, 2019, at approximately 6:00 p.m., members of the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit (KDU), Delaware State Police Kent County Governor’s Task Force (GTF) with the assistance of the Dover Police Department Street Crimes Unit and Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit (DVOC), concluded a four month narcotics investigation into the matter of Corey Patrick.
A search warrant was obtained for Patrick’s vehicle, a GMC Terrain, and his apartment located on Tollhouse Place, Dover. Patrick was located in his vehicle with three children, ages 6, 5, and 1 in the parking lot of the Camden Walmart. He was taken into custody without incident. The search warrant was executed and Patrick was found in possession of the following:
A subsequent search warrant was executed at Patrick’s apartment and the following items were seized:
A computer inquiry revealed that Patrick is a person prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition.
Patrick was transported back to Troop 3 where he was charged with the following:
Patrick was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released after posting $53,000.00 secured bond.
