Dover- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Dover man following an investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs.
On May 22, 2019, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit (KDU) with the assistance of the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team (SORT) concluded a three month drug investigation involving the distribution of crack cocaine in the matter of 42-year-old Ronald O. Freeman. Information was obtained that Freeman was traveling out of state to pick up drugs. A search warrant was subsequently obtained for Freeman’s vehicle. Freeman’s vehicle was stopped when it was observed traveling at the intersection of Bay Road and SR 10. Freeman was taken into custody without incident and transported back to Troop 3.

Freeman was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $40,500.00 secured bond.
