Investigation Leads to Drug Arrest-Dover

Dover-  The Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit (KDU) with the assistance of Kent County Governor’s Task Force (GTF) have arrested a Dover woman following an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs.

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, at approximately 10:50 a.m., the Delaware State Police KDU with the assistance of Kent County GTF concluded a drug investigation involving the distribution of marijuana in the matter of 34-year-old Nicole Collins (no photo available).  A narcotics search warrant was executed at Collins’s residence located in the unit block of Kentwood Drive, Kentwood Estates Community.  Upon execution of the warrant, Collins was taken into custody without incident.

Subsequently, a search of the residence was conducted resulting in the following items being recovered:

  • Approximately 680.0 grams of marijuana
  • Approximately 161 THC Vape Cartridges
  • Approximately 410 doses of THC edible food products
  • Over $3100.00 in suspected drug proceeds

Collins was transported back to Troop 3 where she was charged with the following:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (3 counts)
  • Possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 1 quantity
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Collins was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on her own recognizance.
