Wilmington – The Delaware State Police Governor’s Task Force (GTF) and officers from Probation and Parole, have charged 40 year old Michael Bijansky of Wilmington, with multiple weapons and drug related offenses as a result of a month long investigation into suspected drug dealing.
During the month of February 2019, information was developed by GTF detectives and Probation and Parole officers regarding suspected drug dealing that was taking place at Bijansky’ s residence in the 300 block of S. Union St. in Wilmington.
Based on the intelligence gathered during the course of the investigation a search warrant was executed at the residence on Tuesday, March 12, which resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, assorted drug paraphernalia, an assortment of firearms and ammunition, as well as suspected drug proceeds to include cash and a car. The following is a list of seized items.
Bijansky was taken in to custody without incident at the time the search warrant was executed, and then transported to Troop 2 where he was charged with the following offenses:
Bijansky was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #2 and then committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $512,500.00 secured bail.
