Troopers Arrest Millsboro Man on Drug Charges-Lewes

Lewes- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Millsboro man on multiple drug and related charges.

The incident occurred on March 8, 2019 at approximately 8:48 p.m., when Troopers observed 29-year-old Tevon D. Savage traveling as a passenger in a silver Dodge Avenger in the Love Creek Mobile Home Park.  Savage was known to Troopers to have an active warrant and capiases.  A traffic stop was conducted and initially the vehicle began to accelerate.  The vehicle subsequently stopped and Savage was taken into custody without incident.  Savage was found to be in possession of approximately 2.08 grams of crack cocaine and .7 grams of powder cocaine, which he attempted to conceal.  He was transported back to Troop 7 where he was charged with the following:

  • Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (2 counts)
  • Tampering With Physical Evidence
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Savage was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $13,200.00 secured bond.
