Newark – The Delaware State Police have determined through further investigation, that a robbery that was reported to have occurred at approximately 6:55 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2019, in the parking lot adjacent to the Wendy’s restaurant, located at 90 University Plaza, Newark, was falsely reported by the alleged, 16 year old victim. There was no such incident nor associated suspect and the investigation has been closed as unfounded.
