Troopers Arrest Dover Man on Drug Charges-Dover

Dover– The Delaware State Police have arrested a Dover man on multiple drug charges.

The incident occurred on Thursday, November 29, 2018 when members of the Kent County Governor’s Task Force (GTF) along with Dover Probation and Parole Officers responded to a residence in the 4000 block of N. DuPont Highway for an administrative search of the residence. Upon arrival contact was made with the resident, 44 year-old Nakia Wiggins.  An administrative search was completed for the residence and the following items were seized:

  • 111.03 grams of Cocaine
  • Drug Paraphernalia
  • Over $500.00 in suspected drug proceeds

Wiggins was taken into custody without incident and transported back to Troop 3 where he was charged with the following:

  • Possesses a Controlled Substance in a Tier 5 Quantity
  • Possession With the Intent to Deliver
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Wiggins was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $55,500.00 cash only bond.
