Millsboro- The Delaware State Police with the assistance of the Millsboro Police Department have arrested a suspect in connection with multiple thefts from vehicles in the Millsboro area.

On Thursday, November 29, 2018, the Millsboro Police Department conducted a pedestrian stop on a subject who matched the description of a suspect involved in thefts from motor vehicles.  Further investigation revealed that Noah Whaley, 36 was in possession of property that was recently reported stolen throughout the Troop 4 territory including: a Nikon camera bag containing a Nikon camera and accessories, a prescription pill bottle containing Oxycodone, a BJ’s membership card, an insurance card, a GAP credit card, and various gift cards.

Whaley was taken into custody without incident and transported back to the Millsboro Police Department where he was charged with the following:

• Possession of a Controlled Substance by Theft
• Theft (Felony)
• Theft (4 counts)
• Criminal Trespass (5 counts)

Whaley was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $3,005.00 secured bond.
