Newark – The Delaware State Police have arrested a Newark area day care employee after an investigation revealed that she had assaulted an infant under her care.

The incident began on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at approximately 9:30 a.m. when Amber R. Worthy, 31 of New Castle was attending to an 11 month old female infant at the Happy Kids Academy located at 273 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE.
