Ellendale– The Delaware State Police have arrested two suspects, and one suspect, 28-year-old Joshua A. Wright (pictured above), still remains at large in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at the Getaway Lounge.
The incident occurred on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at approximately 1:01 a.m., when troopers were dispatched to the Gateway Tavern located at 12327 DuPont Boulevard, Ellendale for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Troopers located a 38-year-old male victim outside who stated he had been shot in the lower extremity by an unknown person. The victim was then transported by EMS with serious but non-life threatening injuries to a local area hospital.
Through investigative measures, Troopers identified three suspects, 36-year-old Reggie D. White of Lincoln, DE, 38-year-old Curtis L. Taylor of Greenwood, DE and 28-year-old Joshua A. Wright of Milford, DE.
On September 13, 2019, Reggie White turned himself in at Troop 4 and was charged with the following:
- Riot-Intent to Commit Facilitate Commission of Felony or Misdemeanor
- Conspiracy Second Degree
- Assault Third Degree
White was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on $6000.00 unsecured bond.
On September 12, 2019, Curtis Taylor turned himself in at Court 4 and was then transported to Troop 4 where he was charged with the following:
- Riot-Intent to Commit Facilitate Commission of Felony or Misdemeanor
- Conspiracy Second Degree
Taylor was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on $5000.00 unsecured bond.
Troopers have been unable to locate the third suspect, Joshua Wright who currently has active warrants for the following:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Riot-Intent to Commit Facilitate Commission of Felony or Misdemeanor
- Conspiracy Second Degree
- Assault Third Degree
Wright is known to frequent the Milford and Lincoln areas. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Wright is asked to contact Troop 4, at 302- 856-5850 or Detective R.
