Claymont – All lanes of I-495 northbound, which were closed due to a tour bus fire have been re-opened.
The original incident occurred at approximately 3:40 p.m.. Sunday, February 25, 2018 on I-495 northbound at the I-95 northbound merge. All thirty-five passengers on board were able to disembark without incident. They were then shuttled to the Pennsylvania Welcome Center to await a replacement bus.
