What is the process to become an armored car guard?
1. Individuals must come into one of our two locations for fingerprint and picture processing. Locations are listed below.
2. Individuals must complete the employee application, see the link below. Applications are also available at both locations
3.Upon approval, ID cards will be mailed to the address listed on the individual’s application.
What is the process to become an armed armored car guard?
All applicants must complete a 40 hour firearms course with an approved instructor. See the link below for Approved Instructors. See Rules & Regulations 1.2 under the Firearm’s Policy for additional information.

What is the age requirement for armored car guard?
You must be at least 18 years or older to apply.
What is the age requirement for armed armored car guard?
You must be at least 21 years or older to apply.
What is the cost for an armored car license?
There is a non-refundable $85.00 fee. We accept cash, certified check, Visa, Master Card, Discover, company check, or money order. We cannot accept personal checks or American Express.
What is the cost for an armed armored car license?
If it is a license renewal there is a non-refundable $85.00 fee.
If it is a firearms upgrade there is a non-refundable $30.00 fee.

Agency License- RENEWAL
Renewal procedures will be sent in a notification letter to the agency with the renewal instructions.
Armored Car (Class D) Licensing Procedures
The Board of Examiners of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies, the regulatory body for this industry, meets on a quarterly basis. New licensure and any renewals with changes of an agency must be approved by the Board of Examiners.
