The Delaware State Police are investigating a shots-fired incident that occurred early Sunday morning in Milton.
On December 21, 2025, at approximately 6:00 a.m., troopers responded to a residence in the 30000 block of Fisher Road following reports of gunfire. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 39-year-old resident heard what sounded like an object striking his home. When troopers arrived on scene, they observed a bullet hole in the front of the residence, which caused damage inside the home.
At the time of the incident, two adults and two children were inside the residence. Fortunately, no one was physically injured.
Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident.
