Search Warrants Lead to Three Arrests for Drug Offenses in Wilmington

Delaware State Police arrested 30-year-old Tayvon Brown, 28-year-old Rhasheed Gilliam, and 39-year-old Alexander Wade, all from Wilmington, Delaware, for drug dealing and related charges following two search warrants in Wilmington last week. Additionally, detectives are seeking assistance in locating their co-conspirator, 44-year-old Darvin Connor, of Wilmington, Delaware.
On November 8, 2025, members of the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Drug Unit and Special Operations Response Team executed search warrants at a residence on the 200 block of North Rodney Street and the second on the 700 block of North Monroe Street in Wilmington. The search warrants were obtained following an investigation of Darvin Connor, Tayvon Brown, Alexander Wade, and Rhasheed Gilliam for the distribution of illegal narcotics from the homes.
Brown was taken into custody without incident during the search warrant on North Monroe Street. Detectives found of the following items inside the home:
- Approximately 2 grams of suspected crack cocaine
- Approximately 18 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms
- Drug packaging materials and a digital scale
Gilliam was taken into custody without incident during the North Rodney Street search warrant. A child was also in the home at the time. Wade was arrested after he ran a short distance from the residence. The search led to the discovery of the following items:
- Approximately 321 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl
- Approximately 31 grams of marijuana
- 11 rounds of ammunition
- Various drug packaging and manufacturing materials which were consistent with operating a drug lab
Brown was taken to Troop 2 where he was charged with the below listed offenses, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $30,200 secured bond.

- Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance (Felony) – 4 counts
- Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 1 Quantity (Felony) – 3 counts
- Conspiracy Second Degree (Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Wade was taken to Troop 2 where he was charged with the below listed offenses, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $134,000 cash bond.

- Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance Tier 3 Quantity (Felony)
- Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 3 Quantity (Felony)
- Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
- Conspiracy Second Degree (Felony)
- Resisting Arrest
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Gilliam was taken to Troop 2 where he was charged with the below listed offenses, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 11, and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $142,200 cash bond.

- Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance Tier 3 Quantity (Felony)
- Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 3 Quantity (Felony)
- Unlawful to Knowingly Operate or Attempt to Operate a Clandestine Laboratory (Felony)
- Conspiracy Second Degree (Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Connor remains at-large and is wanted by the Delaware State Police for the following offenses:
- Possession of Controlled Substance Tier 3 Quantity (Felony)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance Tier 3 Quantity (Felony)
- Unlawful to Knowingly Operate or Attempt to Operate a Clandestine Laboratory (Felony)
- Possession of Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance (Felony) – 3 counts
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Felony)
- Conspiracy Second Degree (Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
