The Delaware State Police are currently on scene at Compass at the Grove Apartments located in the 1100 block of Compass Way, Newark, in reference to an armed subject that barricaded himself on the property this afternoon, Monday, June 5, 2023.
Affected residences in the area have been evacuated as a precautionary measure. As a result of the ongoing operation all entrances into the apartment complex have been closed.
