Delaware State Police Arrest Felton Man for Robbery of Convenience Store- Felton

Felton- Delaware State Police have arrested 29-year-old David Frasier of Felton, DE, for robbery and related charges following two incidents that occurred the end of November.

The first incident occurred on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at approximately 1:00 a.m., when a black male suspect wearing dark clothing, and orange hat, and mask entered the Shore Stop located at 8953 South DuPont Highway, Felton. The suspect entered the business and approached an employee behind the sale counter. The suspect demanded cash from the register and implied he had a weapon. The employee complied and the suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The second incident occurred on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at approximately 1:21 a.m., when a black male suspect wearing dark clothing, and a white mask entered the Shore Stop located on the 8953 South DuPont Highway, Felton. The suspect entered the business and approached an employee behind the sale counter. The suspect demanded cash from the register, but the employee did not comply after realizing the suspect was a former employee of the store. The suspect then pushed the employee out of the way and attempted to open the cash register himself. A brief altercation ensued, and the suspect fled the scene without obtaining any cash.

Through investigative means David Frasier was determined to be the suspect and troopers obtained a warrant for his arrest. On Monday, December 20, 2021, Frasier was located in the Milford area and troopers successfully took him into custody.

Frasier was transported to Troop 3 where he was charged with the following crimes:

  • Robbery 1st Degree (Felony)
  • Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree (Felony)
  • Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of Felony (Felony)- 2 Counts
  • Offensive Touching

Frasier was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $32,500 secured bond.
