Troopers Arrest Hockessin Man for Burglary and Related Charges- Lewes

Lewes- Delaware State Police arrested Christopher Sarver, 39, of Hockessinfor burglary and related charges following an incident Monday morning.

On November 8, 2021, at approximately 5:42 a.m., troopers responded to a residence under construction on the 31000 block of Carvel Road, Lewes, DE, for a burglary complaint. The investigation determined the suspect removed an HVAC furnace from inside of the garage to the residence.

Through investigative means, troopers determined Christopher Sarver was the suspect. Troopers responded to his residence located in Hockessin and took him into custody without incident. The HVAC furnace has not been recovered at this time.

Sarver was transported to Troop 2 where he was charged with the following crimes:

  • Burglary Third Degree (Felony)
  • Theft $1,500 or Greater (Felony)
  • Selling Stolen Property Over $1500 (Felony)

Sarver was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released on his own recognizance.
