New Castle – Delaware State Police are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:09 p.m., this evening, October 16, 2021, near the intersection of S. DuPont Highway (US13) and Llangollen Boulevard.
As a result of the crash, US13 northbound and southbound is closed between Pulaski Highway (US40) and Llangollen Boulevard with emergency response vehicles on scene. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes of travel. The road closure is anticipated to be lengthy, with no estimated time for a re-opening.
