Troopers Seek Public’s Assistance Locating a Wanted Magnolia Man- Magnolia

Magnolia, DE- Delaware State Police Troop 3 is seeking the public’s assistance locating Denano J. Blair, 44, of Magnolia.

On August 4, 2021, at approximately 2:50 a.m., troopers responded to a residence on Joshua Drive for an incident involving a weapon. The investigation determined Denano Blair engaged in a verbal argument with a 20-year-old male acquaintance about his dog barking. During the argument, Blair retrieved a loaded handgun from inside the residence and threatened to shoot the dog, and attempted to strike the victim with the handgun. A computer inquiry revealed Blair is a person prohibited from possessing a firearm, and he violated two active court orders by being at the residence. Blair fled the residence before troopers arrived, and attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Blair is currently wanted by Delaware State Police Troop 3 on the following charges:

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
  • Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
  • Two Counts- Breach of Release
