Delaware State Police Arrest Baltimore Woman For Robbery of Liquor Store- Claymont

Claymont– Delaware State Police have arrested 30-year-old Lasha Moore (no photograph available) of Baltimore, MD, for the robbery of a liquor store.

The incident occurred on May 21, 2021, at approximately 10:27 a.m., when troopers responded to Claymont Liquors, located at 2506 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE, in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined a female subject confronted a male employee as he was standing behind the counter. The suspect was armed with an unknown type handgun and demanded money.  The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspect fled out of the store and ran northbound.  The store employee was not injured as a result of the incident.

Through further investigation troopers identified Lasha Moore as the suspect. On June 28, 2021, Moore was apprehended in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and was committed to Anne Arundel Correctional Center.  On July 2, 2021, Moore was extradited to Delaware and charged with the following crimes:

  • Robbery 1st Degree (Felony)
  • Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm by Person Previously Convicted of a Violent Felony (Felony)
  • Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)

Moore was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Correctional Institution on $41,000 cash bond.
