Troopers Arrest Bridgeville Man on Weapon Charges- Greenwood

Greenwood- Delaware State Police arrested 39-year-old Antonio E. White of Bridgeville on felony criminal charges following an incident Monday night.

On December 21, 2020, at approximately 9:19 p.m., troopers responded to the 15000 block of Blanchard Road for an altercation. The investigation determined that Antonio White and a 24-year-old male acquaintance engaged in a verbal argument. The argument escalated, and White retrieved a handgun inside the residence and pointed it at the male, and threatened to harm him with it. A physical altercation ensued, and the weapon was able to be removed from White’s possession. The victim left the residence unharmed. When troopers contacted White, he requested medical attention and was transported to an area hospital. Once cleared from the hospital for any injury, White was then transported to Troop 5, where he was charged with the following charges:

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited (Felony)
  • Aggravated Menacing (Felony)

White was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $27,000.00 secured bond.
