New Castle- The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Dollar General located in New Castle, DE.
The incident occurred on December 16, 2020 at approximately 10:21 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the Dollar General located at 1403 N. DuPont Highway, New Castle for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was learned that a male suspect approached an employee who was locking the door to the business after closing for the night. The suspect pushed the employee and took a bag she was carrying containing an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled on foot towards Bacon Avenue.
There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
There are currently no photos of the suspect available at this time.
The suspect was described as a male wearing all dark clothing.
