Delaware State Police Investigating Shooting Incident- Newark

Newark- On December 09, 2020, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a 27-year-old male of Newark, DE, was operating his Nissan Versa on Interstate 95 southbound in the area of Churchman’s Road, when he was shot in the lower extremity by an unknown suspect(s) in a vehicle passing by. After being shot, the victim drove himself to a nearby hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was the only person injured during the incident.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored mid-sized sedan with tinted windows.
