Troopers Charge Two Suspects With Robbery-Wilmington

Wilmington– The Delaware State Police have arrested 23-year-old Zachary Samluk of Claymont, and 23-year-old Hannah Didonato of Claymont, DE in connection with a robbery.

The incident occurred on October 03, 2020, at approximately 10:12 a.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the Wawa located at 1702 Rocky Run Parkway, Wilmington for a report of a robbery.  Upon arrival, Troopers learned that a 52-year-old female victim had just withdrew money from the ATM inside the store and was walking back to her vehicle in the parking lot. As the victim exited the business with the money in her hand, a male suspect forcibly removed the money and had a physical altercation with her. The male suspect ran to a vehicle waiting for him in the parking lot which was operated by a female suspect and they fled the area. The victim sustained minor injuries from the incident.

Through investigative leads Troopers identified the suspects involved in the robbery as Zachary Samluk and Hannah DiDonato.

On November 13, 2020, Samluk and Didonato were taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 2 where they were both charged with the following:

Samluk

  • Robbery First Degree
  • Conspiracy Second Degree

Samluk was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released on $6,000.00 unsecured bond.

Didonato

  • Robbery First Degree
  • Conspiracy Second Degree

Didonato was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released on $6,000.00 unsecured bond.
