Delaware State Police Investigating Shooting at Wawa – Bear

Bear- Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred late last night that left one man wounded.

The incident occurred on October 20, 2020, at approximately 11:58 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to Wawa located 1100 Pulaski Highway, Bear, in reference to a shooting. Investigation has determined a 24-year-old male had an altercation in the parking lot and subsequently was shot twice while standing outside of his vehicle. The victim was transported to a local area hospital and treated for gunshot wounds to the leg and abdomen.

There is no suspect information at this time and no other reported injuries.
