Delaware State Police Investigating Bank Robbery- Bear

Bear- Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Wednesday afternoon at TD Bank located at 1001 E. Songsmith Drive, Bear, DE.

On October 7, 2020, at approximately 1:47 p.m., troopers responded to TD Bank for a reported bank robbery. The initial investigation revealed the suspect entered the bank, approached the counter, and passed a note to the bank teller. The teller understood a robbery was occurring and complied with the demands. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot toward the Lowes parking lot. No one was injured during the incident, and no surveillance footage is available at this time.
