Milton– Delaware State Police are currently at the scene of a single vehicle crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer hauling live chickens.
The initial investigation has determined that the incident occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2020, on Isaacs Road north of Milton-Ellendale Hwy. (RT 16). Isaacs Road north of RT 16 to Cedar Creek Road will be closed for an extended period of time as a result of the collision. The operator of the tractor trailer is reported to be uninjured.
As a result of the crash, commuters are asked to find alternate routes of travel.
