Lincoln- Delaware State Police have arrested 53-year-old, Lydell Hall of Dover on felony domestic-related charges.

On July 15, 2020, at approximately 10:35 a.m., Troopers were dispatched to the 19000 block of Crabapple Lane in Lincoln, DE, for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with a 35 year-old male victim (son) from Lincoln, and a 19 year-old victim (grandson) from Lincoln, who reported their 52 year-old mother/grandmother’s boyfriend-Lydell Hall threatened them with a knife. Hall was having a verbal argument with the 52 year-old female victim of Lincoln, and the two younger males became involved. During the argument Hall threatened both males with a knife. In fear, all of the victims fled the residence on foot, but Hall grabbed the female after she fell. Hall placed the female in the passenger side of her vehicle against her will, and he drove off. While driving away, Hall physically assaulted the female victim and threatened to kill her. While at a local convenience store, the female victim was able to exit the vehicle and contact was made with police. The female was transported from the store to a local area hospital where she was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.

Hall was located by police in Dover. Hall was then transported back to Troop 7, where he was charged with the following crimes:
