Troopers Arrest Milton, DE Man For Aggravated Menacing-Milton

Milton- The Delaware State Police arrested 36-year-old TERRON L. BROWN for aggravated menacing and related charges after he threatened his ex-wife with a rifle.

The incident occurred on July 13, 2020, at approximately 12:19 a.m., when Troopers were dispatched to a residence in the 28000 block of Fisher Road, Milton, for a domestic related incident.  Further investigation revealed that Brown had engaged in a verbal argument with his ex-wife when he proceeded to obtain a rifle from the bedroom closet.  Brown then threatened to kill the victim.  The 39-year-old victim was able to leave the residence unharmed.

Upon the Troopers arrival, Brown was located outside the residence walking in the wooded area and taken into custody without incident.  A search of the residence led to the discovery of multiple rounds of ammunition, however the rifle was not located.  A computer inquiry revealed that Brown is a person prohibited from possessing a firearm.  Brown was transported back to Troop 7 where he was charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm/Destructive Weapon If Previously Convicted of A Violent Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited Prior Violent Crime or Felony
  • Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
  • Tampering With Physical Evidence
  • Terroristic Threatening

Brown was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $34000.00 cash only bond.
