Delaware State Police Seeking Assistance with Locating Wanted Subject- Wilmington

Wilmington- The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Kyle Jewell of Wilmington, DE, is wanted in connection with a burglary and additional felony charges.

On June 19, 2020, at approximately 6:00 a.m., troopers responded to Lawn Doctor located at 203 North DuPont Road, Wilmington, for a burglary complaint. Upon arrival, Troopers met with the 48-year-old male victim who advised at approximately 3:30 a.m.; he received a call from his tenant who lives on the property stating they heard a crash and observed the victims’ black 2017 Chevrolet Silverado leaving the property. When the victim arrived at the business, he confirmed the truck keys and vehicle were missing. The investigation revealed Jewell entered the building through a window and obtained the keys to the Silverado before stealing it. The truck was later located abandoned, but a weapon inside the vehicle was discovered missing and is believed to be in Jewell’s possession.

Troopers have been unable to locate Jewell who currently has active warrants for the following:

  •  Burglary 2nd Degree (Felony)
  • Theft of a Firearm (Felony)
  • Theft of a Motor Vehicle (Felony)
  • Criminal Mischief
