Lewes Woman Arrested on Felony Domestic Related Charges- Millsboro

Millsboro- Delaware State Police have arrested 33-year-old, Nicole P. Pezold of Lewes on felony domestic-related charges.

On May 29, 2020, at approximately 1925 hours, Troopers were dispatched to the 25000 block of Teal Court in Millsboro, DE, for a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Troopers made contact with the 34-year-old male victim, who was Pezold’s ex-boyfriend. The investigation determined Pezold, the victim, and their two children went on a day trip so Pezold could spend time with the children. During their outing, Pezold and the victim became engaged in a verbal argument that escalated to a physical altercation. During the dispute, Pezold became extremely upset and pulled out a machete that was in the victim’s vehicle and threatened to cause him bodily harm. Once returning to the residence, Pezold took the victim’s vehicle without authorization and fled the area. A computer check revealed Pezold is a person prohibited from possessing a deadly weapon.

On June 14, 2020, Pezold was arrested and charged with the following crimes:

  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony (felony)
  • Aggravated menacing (felony)
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited (felony)
  • Assault 3rd Degree
