Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Incident-Felton

Felton- The Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired complaint that occurred last evening.

The incident occurred on May 28, 2020 at approximately 10:32 p.m., when Troopers responded to the area of Cattle Drive, Felton, for a report of shots being fired.  Upon arrival, Troopers located a residence with its front glass screen door shattered.  Contact was made with the homeowner who advised that he had been sleeping and was unaware of the incident.  Further investigation led to the discovery that the front exterior door to the residence as well as a bedroom window had been struck by a bullet projectile.  The 72-year-old male was uninjured and the only occupant in the residence during this incident.
