Millsboro- The Delaware State Police have charged 29-year-old Donshea Brewer of Millsboro, DE with reckless endangering involving a firearm.

The incident occurred on May 11, 2020 at approximately 2:17 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the 26000 block of Seagull Lane, Rehoboth Shore’s Mobile Home Park, Millsboro, for a physical altercation involving a firearm.  Upon arrival, Troopers learned that a 27-year-old female had engaged in a physical altercation with her ex-girlfriend, Brewer.  During the incident Brewer was in possession of a small caliber handgun, when she discharged the weapon hitting the floor next to the victim.  Brewer proceeded to fire the weapon a second time and struck the ceiling.  Brewer left the residence prior to police arrival.  The victim did not sustain injury.

On May 13, 2020, Brewer turned herself in at Troop 4.  She was charged with the following:

• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Reckless Endanger First Degree

Brewer was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Dolores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $12500.00 secured bond.
