*UPDATE* Troopers Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash, I-95 at Martin Luther King Blvd. – Wilmington

Wilmington – The Delaware State Police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred at approximately 11:21 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2020 on the northbound I-95 on ramp from MLK Jr. Blvd., in the area of W. 2nd St., Wilmington.

The initial investigation has determined that a 2009 Yamaha R6, operated by a 27 year old Wilmington man, was traveling west on the on ramp from MLK Jr. Blvd., to proceed northbound on I-95. Identification of the victim is pending notification of next of kin.

The on-ramp from MLK Jr. Blvd to I-95 was closed for approximately 1 hour 45 minutes while the scene was investigated and cleared.
