Traffic Stop Leads to Drug and Weapon Charges- Felton

Felton- The Delaware State Police have arrested Raheem K. Fullman, 22, of Lincoln, DE, after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs and a weapon.

The incident occurred on February 9, 2020 at approximately 2:18 a.m., when a Trooper observed a Honda Accord traveling above the posted speed limit on South DuPont Highway (US13) in the area of Peach Basket Road, Felton.  A traffic stop was initiated and contact was made with the driver, Raheem Fullman when an odor of marijuana was detected.

A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and the following was located:

  • Approximately 1.65 grams of marijuana
  • 1 oxycodone hydrochloride pill
  •  .22 caliber hand gun loaded with 5 rounds of ammunition
  • Drug Paraphernalia

A computer inquiry revealed that Fullman was a person prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition.  Fullman was taken into custody without incident and transported back to Troop 3 where he was charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited (2 counts)
  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Speeding in Excess of Posted Limits

Fullman was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $32202.00 secured bond.
