New Castle (19720)-The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a New Castle, DE Beauty Supply Store last evening.
The incident occurred on January 29, 2020 at approximately 6:41 p.m., when Troopers responded to the D’Paradise Beauty Supply store located at 323 S. Dupont Highway, New Castle, in reference to an armed robbery. Upon arrival contact was made with the business owner who advised that a male suspect had walked out of the store with merchandise he had not paid for. The owner proceeded to run after the suspect and upon exiting the store, the suspect turned around and pointed a black handgun at him. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
The suspect was described as a black male wearing a light colored sweatshirt and jeans.
