Georgetown- The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in attempting to locate 27-year-old Jaydeem S. Maddox of Georgetown, DE who is wanted in connection with a burglary.
On January 23, 2020, Troopers responded to a residence in the 29000 block of Koi Pond Road, Georgetown in reference to a burglary report. Upon arrival, Troopers met with the homeowners who advised they were away on vacation since December 23, 2019 and when they returned to their residence, they found that it had been broken into and ransacked. The homeowners reported numerous collectable coins and jewelry missing along with multiple firearms.
Through investigative measures, Jaydeem Maddox was identified as a suspect. It was learned that Maddox and an unknown male subject had pawned several of the stolen items at local pawn shops.
Troopers have been unable to locate Maddox who currently has active warrants out of Troop 4 for the following:
- Burglary Second Degree
- Theft (Felony)
- Theft of a Firearm
- Selling Stolen Property (Felony)
- Conspiracy Second Degree
- Falsifying Business Records
- Criminal Mischief
