Troopers Investigating Knifepoint Gas Station Robbery – Wilmington

Wilmington – The Delaware State Police are investigating the knifepoint robbery of a Concord Pike gas station that occurred late Thursday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:55 p.m., Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Exxon gas station, located at 5301 Concord Pike. Two male suspects, one of which was brandishing a large knife, confronted an employee and a bystander as they were at the sales counter and demanded cash. The employee turned over cash from the register and the second victim turned over cash that was on his person. After obtaining the money both suspects fled in an unknown direction. Neither victim were injured as a result of the incident.

Suspect #1 was described as a black male, wearing a red jacket, dark pants and had a cloth concealing his face. Suspect #2 was described as a black male, wearing all dark clothing and in possession of a knife.
