Troopers Investigating Pharmacy Robbery – Bear

Bear – The Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Bear area Walgreens that occurred Wednesday evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:17 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Walgreens Pharmacy, located at 1120 Pulaski Hwy., Bear. The male suspect entered the business and confronted an employee in the manager’s office, implied that he had a weapon and then demanded cash. The employee complied with the demand and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect who then fled on foot in an unknown. The employee was not injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect was described as a white male, 5’10”-6’00” tall, 140-150 lbs., wearing all dark clothing.
