*UPDATE #2-Driver Succumbs to Injuries* Troopers Investigating Serious Crash US 40 at School Bell Rd. – New Castle

New Castle – The driver of a Ram pick-up who was injured in a crash with a school bus, that occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m., Monday, September 23, 2019 on westbound Rt. 40 (Pulaski Hwy.) just east of School Bell Rd., has succumbed to his injuries. The 42 year old Bear man was initially transported to the Christiana Hospital with serious injuries and succumbed to those injuries on Friday, September 27. Identification of the victim is pending notification of next of kin.
