Newark – The Delaware State Police have arrested 19 year old Naceir D. Marsh of Wilmington, in connection with the robbery of a New Castle area gas station that occurred in early September.
The original incident occurred at approximately 10:47 a.m., September 1, 2019, at the Exxon located at 400 Pulaski Highway, New Castle, when a male suspect, with his face concealed, displayed a handgun and demanded money from an employee. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.
Through various investigative measures Marsh was developed as a suspect and on Monday, September 16, he turned himself in at Troop 2 to answer charges related to the robbery. Marsh was charged with one count each of Robbery 1st Degree and Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court #2 and then committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $25,000.00 cash bail.
