Millsboro Man Sought for Domestic Related Assault

Millsboro – The Delaware State Police are attempting to locate 30 year old Exequiel Osorto-Garcia of Millsboro, who is wanted in connection with a domestic related assault that occurred Saturday night.

On Saturday, August 24, 2019 at approximately 9:51 p.m., Troopers responded to the 29000 block of Iron Branch Rd., Millsboro, in reference to a domestic related stabbing incident. The investigation determined that Osorto-Garcia was involved in a verbal altercation with his wife, during which he produced a box-cutter knife and stabbed her in the abdomen. Osorto-Garcia fled the scene prior to the Troopers arrival and has not been located.

The entire incident took place in the presence of their two children who were not injured as a result of the incident. The female was treated and released from an area hospital with a minor laceration.

Osorto-Garcia has active warrants on file for the following charges:

  • Assault 2nd Degree
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2 counts)

Osorto-Garcia is described as a Hispanic male, 5’3″-5’4″ tall, weighing approximately 140-150 lbs. No photo is available at this time.
