Milton- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Millsboro man after he entered his ex-girlfriend’s residence uninvited and a physical altercation ensued.
The incident occurred on June 13, 2019 at approximately 11:14 a.m., when Troopers responded to a residence in the 25000 block of Walker Court, Milton for a 911 disconnect. Upon arrival, Troopers met with a female victim who advised that her ex-boyfriend, 22-year-old Andrew A. Long, III entered her residence without her permission. Long refused to leave the residence and an argument ensued. Long proceeded to strike the victim while in the presence of their three children. Long then left the residence in a vehicle prior to police arrival. The victim and her three children were not injured as a result of this incident.
Long was taken into custody a short time later at a residence in the 26000 block of Mount Joy Road without incident. He was transported back to Troop 7 where he was charged with the following:
Long was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $4,100.00 secured bond.
