*Traffic Advisory*- State Police Conducting Death Investigation-Clayton

Clayton- The Delaware State Police are currently conducting a death investigation after a suspicious vehicle was reported.

The investigation began on June 12, 2019 at approximately 9:38 a.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Sudlersville Road for a suspicious vehicle in the middle of a yard, surrounded by tall grass in a rural area.

Further investigation revealed a deceased victim and hazardous material inside the vehicle.

Multiple agencies, including DSP, DelDOT, DNREC, the Leipsic Fire Department, Hartly Fire Department, Little Creek Fire Department and EMS are currently on scene.

The investigation is in its early stages and remains active and ongoing. Sudlersville Road between Owls Nest Road and Downs Chapel Road is closed at this time.  No foul play and nothing suspicious at this time.
