Millsboro (19966)– The Delaware State Police Major Crimes Unit are still attempting to locate the suspect involved in a stabbing incident and are seeking the publics assistance in locating him.

The investigation began on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at approximately 8:20 p.m., when Troopers were dispatched to the intersection of Townsend Road and Harmony Cemetery Road for a reported stabbing.  Upon arrival, units made contact with a 38-year-old victim of Milford who was sitting on the side of the roadway with stab wounds to his extremities.  The 38-year-old victim was removed from the scene by Emergency Medical Services and transported to a local area hospital.

Through investigative measures, Troopers were able to identify the suspect as 47-year-old Lavocia I. Callahan of Wilmington.  Warrants have been obtained for Callahan’s arrest including charges of Assault First Degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, Aggravated Menacing, and Terroristic Threatening.

Troopers have been unable to locate Callahan and asks anyone with information in reference to his whereabouts to please contact Detective D.
