Troopers Investigating Pharmacy Robbery – North Wilmington

Wilmington (19803) – Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a North Wilmington Walgreens pharmacy Sunday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:47 p.m., Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Walgreens located at 2119 Concord Pike, Wilmington. A masked suspect entered the business and approached a 36 year old male employee at the sales counter while displaying a black handgun and ordered him to open the cash register. The employee complied with the demand and opened the register, at which time the suspect reached in and removed an undisclosed amount of cash, before fleeing the store in a southbound direction. The employee was not injured as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’6”-5’9”, 160-170 lbs., wearing a red sweatshirt, black pants, a mask and in possession of a black handgun.
