Troopers Investigating Shots Fired Complaint-Dover

Dover (19904) – The Delaware State Police are currently investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a residence early this morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:32 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2018, at a residence in the 200 block of David Hall Road.  While two residences, a 53-year-old male and his 83-year-old mother were sleeping, they were awoke to loud banging noises and glass shattering.  Further investigation revealed that two shots had been fired at the front of the residence.  The first bullet had entered the residence through a window pane and struck a recliner.  The second bullet had entered near the front door and became embedded into a wood stove.

There are no suspects at this time, and the 53-year-old male and 83-year-old female were not harmed as a result of this incident.
