Middletown – Delaware State Police are currently on scene of an overturned tractor trailer that occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2017, on Summit Bridge Road in the area of Old School House Road, Middletown. The tractor trailer is the only vehicle involved and the driver was not injured.
As a result of the crash Summit Bridge Road is closed in both directions, between Boyds Corner Road/ Churchtown Road and Armstrong Corner Road / Marlpit Road. The roadway is expected to be closed for an extended period of time. Please seek alternate routes of travel as delays can be expected on all surrounding roadways due to the closure.
